Artist observes, as winter sunlight dims, a blue haze dominates that is usually associated with a NY snow scene, but 60 degrees on 12-17-06.  Looking down Park Avenue, the haze and humidity create beautiful reflected color, light on the streets.  The ilttle headlights, street lights take over as the highest chromas of brilliant yellows, reds, greens; Similarly, Turner painted twilight and night scenes on the Thames River in London wherein the little lights became the focal point and blue haze deepened into nigth gradually. They began to appear so abstract that it became a famous court case - people denied that it was art, late 19th century, early 20th.
