Painted on an unusually warm day in December of 2006, at Sunset, wherein the sun setting down West 42nd Street gives the restored columns of Grand Central a rosey hue, Met Life building in background, sun reflects on buildings, starting to turn to night in foreground. Is an update of the NY Ashcan School of NY in 1939, and an Update of paintings of the artist's old neighborhood when Studio was at 216 Lexington Avenue in 1990's. Many people want to buy this Original painting of which a Poster is made that sells for $30 unframed, $95 framed. Can ship. The artist's Boston agent has set a minimum bid of $20,000, and a special event will be held - an auction at studio at some future date. The agent would like to sell this to Met Life.
