Now it has become night on 12-17-06, and the artist starts to depict NY Nightlife, as it happens in artist's old neighborhood, Park Avenue and 38th Street, looking over towards Lexington Avenue. Old church on corner of Park & 38th Street, and next to church, people congregate going in and out of the restaurant "Rousinni's" and sign below says "the Town House" a hotel. This is a beautiful, designated Historic block, and a scene artist could see from back window of 316 Lexington Avenue Studio in 1990's. NY Ashcan School artists often painted NYC at night, with the people and the little lights and reflected light being the focal points.
